经济衰退
美国各地的人们排着长队，长长的队伍是失业线。失业线是为没有工作的人设立的，数百万美国人没有工作，他们以前有工作。但是现在他们被解雇了，因为经济衰退而被解雇了。经济衰退发生在美国，经济衰退发生在中国，衰退发生在欧洲，经济衰退遍及全世界。
什么是衰退？经济衰退是人们失去工作，没有收入，甚至欠了很多钱，他们不买新东西。如果他们不买新产品，工厂就停止生产新产品，工厂就会裁员。在经济衰退时期，人们只买必要的东西，比如食物。他们不买新电视、新车或新房子。他们不买新鞋，他们把旧鞋修理好再穿。他们不去昂贵的餐馆，他们去便宜的快餐店，他们不去看电影，他们不去酒吧，不去迪斯尼乐园，他们去城市公园，每个人都希望经济衰退很快结束。
